I've just checked his CV because I keep reading of his inexperience and his naivety on his role.
Looking at his career so far he has a very impressive list to fall back on.
Ex pro footballer, coach, scout,CEO of a couple of previous companies and part of the City group.
Considering he's only been at Oakwell about 6 months surely he deserves some backing on what he aims to achieve. He comes over as a very intelligent caring person with targets to take the club forward.I know he's well respected at Oakwell.
Khaled is now the face of Oakwell the wicked witch of the west is now gone and I'm sure that makes most people happy.Mistakes were made before Khaled came to Barnsley and I feel he deserves the chance to show what he can do instead of been ridiculed at every attempt he makes.

I think there are mistakes he's made (keeping Schopp as long as we did, appointing Poya), along with the comms clangers with the West Stand and player value stuff. But he did improve the starting 11 in January, and I think he deserves more time to be judged by his performance, given the shambles that he inherited.

I think the rot set in last season, when the owners started to sound out alternatives to Oakwell, all the while nothing was being done to the West Stand, and nobody was bothering to do anything about the fact that the CEO's contract was about to run down. And Khaled has been given a ton of broken stuff to fix.

He spoke about this last night. Very impressive.
Something for the club to put out really.
He's done more than any CEO I think we have had.

I think he sacked Schopp within his first few weeks,Poya was always the target even from the previous year,as for the west stand its been explained to death its whether you believe the reasons why or not.

Poya was the chosen one for these owners since before Struber.

Poya was a mistake not the appointment that should have happened. Possibly the most negative manager ive seen at oakwell.
Khaled seems like a nice bloke but he is just a scapegoat. The fans want conway to do a interview and talk us through the mess he made in the summer and answer other questions that need to be answered but he seems reluctant to do this.

Why do you want to hear Conway. He's already stated he made mistakes in the summer plus anything else he say's and he'll be called liar.Tell the truth I don't want hear his name again. To call Khaled a scapegoat is a little easy to say.For me I will judge him on his actions .

Agree on the west stand, that’s why I called it a comms clanger, because my issue is with how it was handled and communicated than with the decision itself.

As for Poya. While he might’ve been a target previously, and I think he would’ve been a better appointment than Schopp in the summer. I don’t think he was what was required at the time he was appointed, given the disaster that was the summer and Schopp.

    Khaled's CV

Professional soccer player 2/2006-8/2006 (Czech first division)
    Founder EC Miracles 3/2005-2/2008
    Assistant Coach Marquette University 1/2006-5/2008
    Coach Linkopings FC 1/2009 - 9/2009 (Sweden)
    Scout & Match Analysis 8/2009 -7/2010
    Founder 'Our game' magazine 2009 - 2014
    Chief Scout Djurgarden - 8/2011- 1/2014 Sweden
Marketing Director - Sirius Football 9/2014-2015
    Founder Connect Management 2015-2016
City Football Group - Scandinavia/Conacaf and NYCFC Lead 2/2016-9/2021
    CEO BFC 9/2021

He speaks four languages, has a Bachelor of Marketing and certificate in International business and an MBA from University of Wisconsin.

So far he's been a soccer player for 6 months, a scout, a coach, a magazine founder and for the last 5 and a half years worked for City Group.

Here's a guy who has been very keen to be involved in football and, through a variety of approaches, has made it through to being CEO of a championship team.

Looking at his CV I can see why he is exceptionally keen to succeed. With the exception of his role at City Group his tenure in most roles has been exceptionally short.
