Just seen his comments on the BBC site. Says we had to change the match plan because a player wasn't ready. Most bizarre. Like many of us I'm confused as to selection and tactics. The comment above takes it to another level.
Thing with Schopp is with me apart from questionable tactics is that he seems unemotional on the touch line , I don’t want him waving his hands about aimlessly for a visible gesture but to take an interest in the players , give them encouragement , let them know if the make a good/bad move , re iterate what you want them to be doing etc . He does nothing and stands watching and when he makes a sub they just go and sit down, no acknowledgement from either party . He brings players into or out of the squad for reasons that no one understands , he seems to fall out with the players and hangs them out to dry on press conferences . His post match analysis to the press don’t reflect most games Ive seen and non of the players seem to know what’s expected of them .
This guy is so bad he makes Morais seem like someone who was on the same level as Clough, Ferguson and Shankly.
That reminds me of Nardiello away at Southend leaving his boots on the team coach and having to come out in his flip flops to get them 10 minutes before kick off
