Millie, a problem free but unwanted 5 year old Staffy. Due to be put to sleep, unless a home can be found. Anyone interested..? URGENT! PLEASE READ! Please Please help if you can. This is Millie, she is a 5 year old Staffie. She is a sweet girl, who is horrifically going to be put to sleep if we can't find her a home. Her story, so far as I know, is that she was given up by her owner, and a friends friend took her in to try and find her home. He has had her for 7 weeks and can no longer keep her. He has tried all the rescues in London and they have all said they are full. He said that Millie is a sweet, soppy girl who loves humans and is ok with other dogs. Not good with cats though. She would need someone who understands her breed, and be able to give her the time and patience to train her. It breaks my heart that this might even happen. Please please if you think you might be able to open your home to her, know of anyone that might, know of any shelters or rescues that would take her, or can just help me share this far and wide I would be so grateful. She doesnt deserve the life she's had so far, please help me find a better one with people that love and care for her. The person she is with now is willing to drop her to anyone that would take her, or I can help with this. He is also willing to pay for a few months kennel/boarding costs. I will also help with this if I can. PLEASE take the time to help Millie if you can, thank you so much.
I would imagine so mate, but will check. A few of us are ready to put a few quid in for what she needs. Cheers.
We have a 5 year old Patterdale male we've been looking for a friend for, he's been through more homes than dinners so his separation anxiety is a massive issue and it makes it difficult for me and my wife to go out together. Would have to see how they got along though before committing to anything. Will talk to the missus and see what she reckons.
Understand mate, millie has a similar story. I think it would be very possible to have a trial fostering period and see how it works out. Of course a forever home is best, but even a stay of execution will at least save the poor lasses life. The dog is down south, but the current carers are happy to take her wherever she's wanted...
