I'm quite happy to acknowledge that I rate them both and believe they're our best two players. If that puts me in the minority amongst Barnsley fans and proof I know nothing about football, then I can live with that.
Woodrow 12 league games without a league goal. Mowatt 22 games without a goal and only 1 in his last 31. If they have had their heads turned we are better off getting shut.
Didn't look to me like that they didn't care. They simply had little time on the ball, with Luton's intense physical approach; also with Woodrow being given little protection from the ref.
Mowatt needs to stop taking dead balls. It might work in training, it doesn’t work on the day. I see Styles has taken over the corners, which is a start. We have to start converting more of our dead ball chances. We’ve been poor for a number of years.
I also agree. But I also know nowt about football. If there heads had been turned, I don;t think they would've played today.
Woodrow looked lost as usual up top. Needs to be deeper. He's what makes us tick in that role. He needs people ahead of and around him. This is a hill I'm prepared to die on.
This This This And This Instead of urging further terminal weakening of our inexperienced team by criticising our best player and the one most likely to score I'd prefer to be pressing for them to have some more strength (literally) around them.
