Can any kind soul shed any light on the following issues for me?

Looking in the Official History 1887-1998 book, at the appearance and goalscorer data season by season, the goalscorer for our opening fixture of the 52/53 season is missing. It was 1-1 between us and Doncaster at Doncaster. Can anyone tell me the goalscorer?

Also, it lists Frank Bartlett as a goalscorer in a 1-0 defeat away to Halifax Town in April 1961. Is the scoreline correct or did Bartlett not actually score that game?

Any help on this is very much appreciated indeed!

Now this one's tricky...if anyone can help here I would be astounded.

The book lists O'Hara having scored 10 in the 63/64 league season, Kerr 9.

But if you count up the times their name appears in the list of scorers that season, Kerr appears only 8 times, whereas O'Hara has 11 entries.

Clearly O'Hara has been credited with one of Kerr's goals, but which?

When you count them up its 11 for o'hara which is correct and 8 for kerr. It should be 9 for kerr and I think the game is bristol city 2nd November 1963 we lost 4 2 it says og but could of been kerrs goal. You need someone with a programme from later that season unfortunately I have sold all mine a few years ago

I love this book and it's season by season player stars.

I wish someone would do an update version.

    BFC official history book.

Anyone involved in the publishing of this?

    Definitely worth an updated version.

I for one would buy it.

Plenty happened since it was last out in 1998.
