At that level that's below his ability he should piss ten goals by the new year. After that we either have a player match sharp brimming with confidence or could sell him at a decent profit.
turned out to be best decision all round. if he'd stayed he would have been on the bench at preston, instead hes banged in 2 goals, good news for us that
Also agreed. I think Hecky glossed over the situation diplomatically in his interview last week but I reckon he'll be extremely disappointed Moncur didn't stay and fight for his place. The player must have had it explained to him when he came that he'd have to adapt to our system. It seems when it came down to it he didn't fancy it. Regardless of his ability that's an attitude that will not get him in our side.
He would never get a game for us and he wants to play football. I don't see why people think he's got a bad attitude. Nobody on here I don't think would play him and Connor in the same side (maybe Hemsy) so unless Connor was injured (never happens touch wood) or was abducted by aliens he would be bench warming at a time in his career where he should be playing regularly.
Oh to be a fly on the wall...as they say... Hopefully one day we will find out the truth of what went off.....speculation on my part...i reckon his old man was the problem from bits ive read here and there
I also don't think he'll play again for us. Massively disappointing but there you go. I just hope we get our money back.
Moncur could fit in to a 3 as scowen plays when sessi or Morsy come on but what he should be doing is training here learning how to play in a 2 like conor did and make the most of any sub chances he gets. I think him going out on loan is poor on his part, the 2 goals in a league lower with a team not playing how hecky plays means nothing so when his loan finishes he is no further on in hecky's plans and back to square one even if he scores a lot of goals. It may help us get our money back on him though.
what about connor moves on in January and a rejuvinated free scoring moncur comes back and seamlessly slips back in. Maybe how its been planned, dunno??
That's the only likely option I can see. However I think he may have already blotted his copybook. There just isn't any room for anyone in our squad, who thinks they are entitled to start.
Slips back on to which position tho? , hecky won't change our playing principles for one player, he doesn't seem to me to be a striker winger or cm. At the moment it seems like one of those signings which just doesn't fit.
Where's the evidence that he has a bad attitude? (aimed in general, not specifically at you, but your post prompted it).
