Hes played in every one of Peterborough's seven games since he joined them. Five starts and came off the bench twice. And scored two goals too
I agree he's scoring goals and playing much more regularly than he was for us. But I guess you were trying to put down one of our own players. Lovely bit of WUM till Hemsy gets online.
I guess one would expect him to be a starter in every league game considering the loan circumstances: perhaps he has a niggle.
Incidentally Chris Forrester has played well for Peterborough. Wonder if we're looking at him; only 23 and need another midfielder. Would be quite expensive though. Just a thought anyway
Some signings just don't fit at a club, young southern lad coming up north was always going to be a challenge. Seems to be public knowledge that he expected to be starting all the time and not fighting for a place, but maybe there was more to it than that with how quick we were to loan out a player that we spent a good chunk on. I'm gonna back track on my previous statements that we can't be gambling on non-league players to make it in the Championship, chuck £50,000 a piece on ten players from non-league who are hungry to succeed and you'll probably drop on better than the likes of Moncur but have to accept that many won't make it. We do need a lot of pace in our team though for the way we play and you aren't going to find that in L2 and below because they get scooped up by the bigger clubs even if they aren't that good with the ball.
He's the lad that Conor stood on, and then got him sent off. Looked a good player, from the first hour of that game that I watched.
