Has scored 12 goals more than our entire squad. Been a good day today, but some perspective needed. Let's hope this isn't a flash in the pan, like our 3-0 win vs Sunderland last time we went down & is us turning the corner. The formation worked much better for us today. For me it was virtually a 4-4-2 or 4-4-1-1, but it did shift somewhat at times. Celebrating & feeling good about it all. It's been a while.
I dont know what our squad cost but mitrovic cost 24 million didnt he? Its like the Sheffield united team with brewster and mcburnie in who brewster was more than 20million and mcburnie just under. Some teams we really cant compete with in this league. Played well today and nice to get a win hopefully builds some confidence but still think too little too late and past mistakes off the field have cost us.
It has been a good day, and we need to repeat it at Coventry, we have nothing to lose now because most folk have wrote us off!....if we could just get back to back wins then confidence in the side would come flooding back, it’s a massive game on Saturday coming.
Mitrovic is a class act at this level but i dare say with confidence that if he had been playing in our side all season he would have no where need the goal return he has at present.
