This dog belongs to a friend of mine. To make matters worse she was away on holiday so has been unable to help with the search.
Just posting as I know there’s a few who live in Chapeltown, and there is the chance the dog may have travelled to Hoyland/ Elsecar.

I hope Harper is found safe and well Fiona. Your friend must be worried sick.

Due to being friends with someone in Hoyland Common on Facebook I am already following this, hoping all the time to see good news. I'm down near Lincoln so can't do much other than hope and pray.
My friend posted on F/B the "My Hoyland" page which showed Harper or a very similar dog on a street nearby. I don't know where this is, or even when the photo was taken.
Straight away I messaged him back saying it looked like a Bedlington. Then I've seen more posts about the missing dog, seen the photos and would say that the one my friend told me about is the same one.
I know this isn't helping much but all fingers are tightly crossed for a prompt return of this little girl.
    Keep us informed please.

    Thank you.
Any chance you can retrieve the post?

Edit - just seen it. It’s been discounted, but thanks anyway.

Not Harper - belonged to a local lady.

I've just been reading all the additional messages on the My Hoyland F/B page and now I don't know what's what or who's who !!
And to add something even more bizarre another Bedlington has just been reported as missing on the Darfield F/B page.
    I'm getting giddy now, !
We, by the way, have a Bedlington Poodle cross.

They are appealing for as many people as possible to be available for a day search on Saturday. We have been down today and the terrain in the woods is really difficult - uneven, drops, brambles etc. If you are able to help, be prepared!
Request is that people turn up without dogs, and don’t call for the missing dog.
Hunt for Harper is the Facebook group.

Edit - the search area is vast.

Does this mean she is safe, or at least found?
    Hoping for good news.

I think it means tonight is critical. Sounds like they have sight of the dog but are worried it will bolt. If that happens in the dark it could be bad news. Starting a search again when the dog is already weak. Fingers crossed the people running the operation can get hold of the dog.
