    After a year at Dundee United. I'm sad that it didn't work out for him at Tannadice. But there was a couple of times in the past where I'd have been quite happy to see him given the top job at Barnsley. I wish him well.

    I thought he did OK in the couple of weeks he had as caretaker when Flicker got the sack. Won his first game iirc and wouldn't have been a bad appointment that season to be honest

    He got sacked for being too nice to the players after the Watford defeat. Wilson and Hutchings thought he was diluting the message.
