My lads just sent me a new Club mug. It's got the iconic Shaws Carpets Stars logo on it and on the reverse side, it reads 10 Currie. Must admit , not seen anything like it on my visits to the Club shop. Anyone know are they available at the Club and if so are there others you can buy.? On the subject of mugs , I was in a gift shop in Whitby last Monday and saw all kinds of football merchandise. Spotted a badge on a leather wallet. it had Barnsley at the top, a football in the middle and at the bottom it said Toby's Tykes. Wanted fifteen quid for it. Anyone buying one is a mug, looked really cheap. That's cash that won't add to our much needed funds, although the brass they must be making from selling Man Utd memorabilia must be massive. The place absolutely was infested with it. Anybody know please, is it possible to "book" Toby Tyke to put in a guest appearance and if so, the likely cost.? It would be just for an hour or so on Saturday afternoon in July, in Wakey, at a time to yet be arranged. Thanks.
