    They will be over the moon that the centre pairing at Barnsley - that have been a hard pair to break down - have been separated just a couple of weeks into the season - Jeez !!!

    Being a derby match, Rovrum will be up for it..........and they will be playing against two centre backs that haven't played a competitive match together........
    Nice one Barnsley

    If Rovrum have owt abart um......... then expect a Rovrum win - or at least a draw


    Most of us were sceptical Barnsley would do well this season

    But all those fears were relinquished when we saw them play against some of the top teams in this division

    All those fears are back again with just one stroke of a directors pen

    Remember hearing the same last season when Hamill got injured

    And also when scowen played right back

    It's a big loss but BFC is not a one man team same as we weren't last season

    Bit harsh on Nudge, he's spot on. It's a centre half pairing, not a winger, a full back or another midfielder than can be easily replaced. We loaned out our other defender with experience. Take a peek on the Rotherham forum, they're already saying put three up front they'll be all over the place.

    We'll win 5-3 mind.

    Losing an excellent centre half that was part of an excellent centre back team is bad enough......but if that loss is just before a local derby.....then that's worse still

    No, not what we've got at the weekend more like less than 24hrs before your next game with no experienced centre half lined up for that game. Anyone with a football brain would think, wow terrible timing.

    It was Alfie Masson he is a good defender and has a good future ahead of him but **** me he is not irriplaceble. Anyone would have thought we have sold Vincent kompny.

    The timing could have been better. Could we have not waited until sunday to let him talk to them? Us and Rotherham are both expected to be in a relegation battle and we penalise ourselves the day before a huge local derby and tell the opposition he will be missing with an official website statement.
