A growing theme in our match statistics is that we rarely have as much possession as our opponents, yet create more chances and score more goals. A sharp contrast to years gone by where we tended to dominate possession - mostly by passing it round the back.

    Long may it continue.

Absolutely long may it continue. Nowt wrong with other teams having the ball as long as we don't sit back and let them do stuff with it.

60/40 against us possession-wise t'other night, but we outdid them on every other statistic, including the one that counts - ball in't back o't onion bag.

Grayson seemed to be quite pleased that they'd done us on possession. He'll learn. Possibly.

And our next opponents reading are 2nd in the whole of the 4 divisions for possession (man city top) but aren't scoring many. Should make for a good game.
