Alan Shearer saying Callum Wilson dived for the penalty. What a hypocrite, how much did he dive in his career?

Me neither, definitely dived around a lot when I saw him play.

 

Ridiculous decision from the ref after viewing it on VAR.

 

I agree it was a dive but I’m more about the cheek of Shearer talking about it and slamming the dive when that’s all he did

True Story. I was in a pub in Barbados many years ago whilst Shearer was still playing (diving) football and he was surrounded by a gang of "admirers". A young lass about 12 or 13 years old was in there with her parents having a meal and eventually she plucked up courage and walked across to the Great God AS (GGAS) and asked politely if she could have his autograph please holding out a pen and paper. The GGAS turned round to her, snarled and shouted at the top of his voice "You Can Fúck Right Off, now Píss Off you little cow". She ran back to her parents table in tears. I've never forgotten that incident and I regret not remonstrating at the time with the cóck-womble. Twát.

 

I would have done! Say no by all means, but not in that manner.

VAR is getting to be an obstructive liability and I hope that it is either heavily redesigned, or abandoned altogether. You might have argued some contact outside the box, but it was minimal, and there was NO contact inside the box. Wilson dived and it should have been HIS yellow card, not Andersen's.

 

I'm not even a massive fan of him, but he is getting better.

 

It was nice to hear them singing John Stones’s praises. Shearer usually can’t wait to set into Stones, but they were all quite complimentary last night

 

I never watch it not interested in it.
