I have just watched a documentary on BBC about racism in football. It’s about Andrew Watson who was a black player who was Scotland’s very first captain and Mark Walters talking about his experiences while playing for Rangers.
An excellent program and well worth a watch.
    It’s on BBC iplayer.
Mark Walters walking in the footsteps of Andrew Watson.

I sadly saw Mark Walters suffer racist abuse at Oakwell when on the Swindon bench. Can’t remember what came of it but stewards were hardly effective. Was in days could sit West lower north side so prob 1999ish.
