I didn’t realise he got as many assists as he did. There’s some absolutely stonking strikes in there, but then that was totally expected. I’m optimistic that his second attempt at the championship will be far more successful than his first.
Go 26, one of my favourite players this season, will tear wendys defence a new arseoyle next season !!
Big season coming up for him and a good few others. Prove themselves in the next twelve months and they'll become VERY rich fellas.
Agreed, he’s got a huge opportunity to put himself in the shop window next season. I’m sure its not lost on him
Had a great season, yet people still berate him, because they think he’s ‘lazy’. I could be wrong, but personally I think he just has that sort of posture, where he naturally slouches. Combine that with the fact that he often moves slowly to preserve energy (as most players do, but a lot of his game comes from his sprints, so he needs to) and people come up with lazy.
He's pretty inconsistent but there's real flashes of quality in there. Seems like a great guy too. Need to get that contract extended before he has a good year and goes on a free!
Coz it's quite obvious he's lazy he doesn't do enough over a 90 minute period and what he does do right isn't consistent enough. Our fullback must cover double the ground he does. He ought to take a leaf out of such as sane or mane effort they put in instead of mr Blobby.
That’s nothing to do with laziness, that’s playing style both of the player and how the manager wants him to play. Would you prefer him to track back every time we’re on the defensive, then be out of position when we get the ball back, or would you prefer him to play a bit further forward (it’s not like he doesn’t track back at all, he’s not bad at it...) and save some energy to sprint past defenders?
