    Unplayable second half yesterday. Shame it has taken this long for him to be fit and firing for us. He’s a smashing player on his day.

    Fair play, he did really well second half, defended well too, was behind yiadom on a few occasions right in the corner getting the ball away. Seemed to keep growing in confidence as the game went on

    I think people underestimate fitness and confidence for players. Mahoney is a great little player. Chucking him on the fringes of a team fighting for their lives with no first team action for 6 months was a big ask. Just wish we had managed to sign him last summer. If we stay up I hope we try to sign him.
