    Even if they’d lost one nil at Burnley I’m not sure we’re qualified to laugh at them, they look a solid enough premier league outfit.

    I mean I’m no Leeds fan but why would we laugh at them when you compare?

    Joking aside, you can laugh at a team on course to lose two out of three games whilst knowing deep down they’re better than we are. Otherwise why do we sing it’s just like watching Brazil or ‘And it’s Baaaaarnseeeeeeleeey. Barnsley FC’.

    I think it was funnier yesterday when the announcer was going through the full times. The East Stand stairwell audibly laughed at one L1 result.

    Pulled in 34,000 for a League Cup tie against Crewe in midweek. Littered with internationals and have one of the best managers in world football. The most successful Yorkshire club by far in the last 50-60 years. But we want to laugh at them? Okay! :D

    Are they the least successful one city football club, based on size of catchment area, of the last 25 years?

    I also remember when they only got 11,000 for an FA Cup tie against Kettering Town where the winner played their fiercest of fierce rivals Manchester United. That number wasn’t shared far and wide.
