    He is sorely needed in the team.

    If England are going to ever move forward they have to start putting the best players in the best positions.
    Given Stones move to Man City, who could argue he's not the best?
    OK he needs a powerful ball attacking CH next to him, in the Terry / Jagielka mould.

    We need to stop playing strikers on the wing & in midfield, just because we think they deserve a start.

    I doubt if Gareth has the balls to change things, but we'll see. He could surprise us all....
