Up for review in just over a week, so do we all think it will be extended?

Yeah I based it on Matt Hancock actually being right in getting 100,000 a day tested by the end of April. End of May gives them another month to test at least three million people.

People need to see the finishing line. I think they'll review it again in 3 weeks time.

Think the army will be on hand to assist the bobbies due to pillocks who think the lockdown doesn’t apply to them

It will, because they can’t back down now. Hand-c0ck and co have spent the last six weeks hammering this strategy; to back down to something more sensible now would be a total about-face and they’d lose all credibility. So it will be extended again - they don’t have an exit strategy from the road they’ve gone down.

Thing is how can they differentiate between people who are genuinely sticking to the exercise instructions and those who are out and about regardless?

Nosey Nelly and the curtain-twitching Stasi on here seem very able to tell what is and isn’t legitimate business.

What would the more sensible option be? The virus doesnt move people move the virus it's as simple as that, so unless you have a vaccine I dont see any other alternative.

I think they will lock down until the money men tell them that continuing is no longer sustainable for the economy. And then it will be a case of crossing fingers and hoping we have enough beds to cope. Just my opinion.

Sweden. Impose stringent controls and provide lots of help for the elderly and vulnerable. Let the rest get on with it and save tens of thousands of lives by saving the economy.

That bridge has already been crossed. Not only has the bridge been crossed, we’ve walked along the river, cut along back up to the road, hitch hiked a lift to the nearest airport, and f-uked off on a long haul flight.

Also needs lots of testing and tracing - something we seem bizarrely totally against
But to answer the OP - I expect it will be extended for a further 3 weeks amid "signs that its starting to have a positive effect"
Unless Toby Young gets his way of course

I'm not sure on that mate, we will have to see I guess. They can't really win whichever strategy they take in reality. Wouldn't touch the PM job if it made me millions.
