Were only allowed a set amount i think mate. Not sure if youth counts towards that target and im not sure how many we do have out on loan. I do think that was the plan for Smith though as Clarke said himself we have plans for all 3 keepers
Is that a new thing didn't Chelsea have about 30 out at one point or is it like most things one rule for the big boys and another for little old us.
Yeah it is mate, its to stop teams like Chelsea doing exactly that and hoovering up all young talent. Now though usually they just hoover it up and sell them a year later with a buy back clause. Suppose its still better for other clubs as they'll receive more money but still ********, though I'm not really sure you'd be able to rectify that loophole
