I've got nothing against the scousers, I don't understand all the hate towards them. Maybe stuff before my time.
I think it’s mainly some having problems etc with scousers and labelling them all as those they’ve had problems with. I’ve had it with someone who didn’t like Yorkshire people because they had a fight with some on holiday , I just get on with it tbh take people as I find them if they’re knobs they’re knobs choose where they’re From . It’s same with others in Yorkshire I’ve heard people say they hate people from Leeds or Sheffield and Barnsley. Back to the video though it all seems good humoured imo and hope it stays that way but as usually happens some idiots will come along and go it and hide behind the crowd who’ll get all tribal when law arrives and then trouble starts . Then it’ll be Those *******scousers etc etc when in reality it’s the scum of the human race that causes it choose what city or country they’re from.
First time we went there in 82 one of fans was slashed very badly with a Stanley knife- he suffered horrific injuries. There was a really bad feeling in the replay and at the cup game in mid 80's. Remember them getting bricked going across the bridge in the railway station
They always seem to rise back to top. In any bit of adversity they come out smelling of roses. You'll never beat a scouser.

. The Heysel stadium disaster never helped their popularity. Caused by Liverpool fans. 39 fans ( mostly Italian) died. All English clubs banned from Europe for 5 years. From a personal viewpoint I didn't particularly like the scousers who tried to mug me at the cup final, or the two who I caught trying to burgle my house. I'll be supporting Spurs tomorrow.
I for one don’t like Liverpool fans every time I’ve been they have had more than their fair share of scummers looking for trouble and generally finding it, including the really bad slashing incident. But the kicker ( no pun intended) for me is somehow they always get it brushed under the carpet and get hailed as fking paragons!
I was in Liverpool for the final last year, what an atmosphere!! Up until about 6pm as I’d had 15 pints by then and can’t remember anything past that! Apparently they lost and I got back at 2am... winner!
Atmosphere building now in town - loads of tourists just coming to sample the atmosphere in town. Friend from America has stayed in city for an extra week just to be here for final
We were up for the fall ships festival, always a treat coming into Liverpool especially now they’ve built the cruise liner terminal, we used to go down Canada docks... always smelt of cat food!

My former boss where I worked is a big Liverpool fan and has gone to Madrid for the Final. He's a great bloke and for his sake alone, I hope Liverpool do it. Watched the documentary on Klopp and Pochettino on TV last night. It was very good. From what was said, today's Liverpool fans have similar feelings for JK, that they had for the legendary Bill Shankly. Steven Gerrard said he's envious of the Liverpool players in that he never got to play for Klopp and if he could, he'd gladly put a kit on and run hard for the man. He also said, the players are together and totally respect Jurgen and that's the primary reason they are playing so well as a unit. There's an article on Sadio Mane is in today's paper and he says he's playing for the best manager in the world and for that reason, he will never ever leave Anfield. Pochettino also came over as a great bloke who cares deeply for his players welfare. Ryan Mason who was at Spurs from age 8, said that when he signed for Hull, Pochettino still kept in touch with him. He took an even greater interest in his welfare when he fractured his skull in a game against Chelsea that ultimately ended his career. Without hesitation, Pochettino invited him back to the Club and offered him a position on the coaching staff and I believe he's still there.
