I particularly liked "he's just a very small toss pot".

They need to accept that they are no longer a big club!!! Who else would take on that poison chalice?

"His wanky management speak is starting to wear thin and isn’t disguising the fact he hasn’t improved us one bit, about time he started getting a run of decent results instead of spouting this POMO/USP/clusterfuck corridor ******** all the time"

His win % is actually better than it’s ever been in 3 previous jobs, and by some distance, but he’s got the weight of expectation on his shoulders at Sunderland. Only promotion will be deemed a success, and rightly so, they’re a big fish down there.

These threads always amuse me, from ours to Brizzle to the Marras, all interchangeable and could just have been cut and pasted :D:D

Course they are. Being a sleeping giant doesn't mean they're a small club. Any team that can pull 20,000+ in the 3rd Division is a big club. They'll be back sooner or later. Remember Man City, Leeds, Southampton, Wolves have all been in Sunderlands position.

When that's updated with tonight it will be 3 defeats in his 15 games in charge. They expect a lot if 1 defeat every 5 games isn't acceptable. He's been there two minutes and the club are riddled from top to bottom and have been for many years now. It's going to take him a while to try and sort them out and it's his first away defeat.

This funny tweet got a lot of Sunderland fans hooked in :D

Agree completely. At some point they’ll lurch back into life, the fans will jump on it and they’ll take the momentum into the championship. You can put your house on it.

Admittedly a bit more difficult now there are several other clubs down there to make things interesting, and also the salary cap, but they’ll find a way. It’s not Wigan we’re talking about.

It were better than usb, he said usp . Marras are trying to work out what their usp is, with I have to say a lot of very good walking the plank humour.

Should have said STD. Might stop the opposition marking them as closely.

We've been in that position under Clarke, Hunter, Wilson, Bassett, Ritchie, Wilson, Hecky, Stendel. Granted the turn out has been lower but Barnsley folk aren't idiots. Give me sumat worth watching and i'll flock down to Oakwell and maybe stay longer than half-time or 70th minute.

If it's Davey, Hill and Johnson level cack si thi in Mount.

Man's full of ********, I'd rate him alongside Steve Parkin and Morais for ability, he's always had a good group of players at all his clubs but achieved nowt.
