Best Indian takeaway I have ever had.

Not the cheapest but quality food

    Would highly recommend

Amrad the owner used to own the curry house across from the post office in town in the 90’s . He also had dil raj . Nice bloke, done lots of work for him. He runs cookery classes next door as well

I've never thought it that good tbh.

Then again, most folk are more adventurous with Indian dishes than me.

Had a really nice on on Friday night in Lancaster, enjoyed it more than the footballing display haha.

But if I compared say a dish side by side, I reckon the Tandoori hut on Wakey Road is my favourite. Their special curry is spot on.

Interesting to hear about the Tandoori Hut.
I’ve past it many times on my way to Oakwell but never noticed it busy.
It certainly looks impressive so may give it a whirl

Young un swears by it. Definitely quality. Just on some dishes I prefer other takeaways. But that applies to em all. Matter of taste I suppose.
I used to eat Madras when it was a lot milder than they all seem to serve up these days. So don't risk it.

Trouble with the tandoori hit is they rush you too much . Me and the family have been in there for a three course meal and we’ve been on out within one hour . Before you have had chance to lick your plate they’ve took it . Much prefer, Alams lounge or the original India gardens .

I’ve been a few times Mick (even tho I’m not a lover of Indian food but mrs loves it) I’ve never felt rushed, the food does come out pretty quick but we’ve always stayed for a few beers after the tables are cleared.

Is that recently? We've always found the customer service excellent and never felt rushed. I suppose women nights are busier than others though.
