Clubs no longer get paid per tv appearance like they used to. Everyone gets the same amount now. All it does is cause problems for fans. So put them on every week for me

Didn't Cellino try to stand up to Sky last season.

You sleep with the devil you can't be surprised when he reaches for the lube and tells you to spread.

I don't have an issue with the bigger clubs being on more than us or the other less glamourous sides as I understand that Sky want to maximise viewing figures. Up to a couple of years ago Leeds were the star attraction and even now probably bring in larger audience figures than the majority of other Championship teams. I get all that. However, this season, there's Villa and Newcastle of similar stature and a whole range of teams (us included) who are a hell of a lot better to watch than the going-nowhere-middle-of-the-road Elland Rd outfit. I can only conclude that it's down to lazy selection. The guys picking the games probably pay little attention to the relative excitment value of different teams games thus far and just pick out the big names for endless TV coverage. A friend who works amongst Leeds fans tells me even they are sick of it, always having away days curtailed by kick off times, little point in getting season tickets because half their home games are on live etc.
