    Been nice to get 7 points in front of the macems, yes they will have to win there games in hand but that's not a given, win tonight and I will enjoy having my feet up watching soccer Saturday tomorrow afternoon

    One of my best mates is a sunderland fan.
    He thinks we are a better team and will finish 2nd and play offs for them.
    They are not all deluded, big time merchants.

    Im just hoping we win - Not sure 3 games in 7 days suits us very much - weve struggled on Tuesdays playing just 3 days after the previous game and wow we have a second quick game just 3 days after Tuesday
    And Donny's star striker had a nice rest

    It would be typical for us just to take the pi$$... although the irony would be lost on most Sunderland fans I reckon....

    Agree with that GED. The Mackems I know, are very complimentary regarding our performances this
    season. They recognise that as a Club, Sunderland have fallen a long way and they remain hopeful, that they can
    eventually climb back to where they once were, whilst recognising that that will be by no means an easy task.As for us,
    we just need to remain focused and as we've said previously, try to be positive and take each game as it comes.
    Without tempting fate, once we have a full compliment of players available for selection, I'm of the mind that we can
    give anyone in our league a game. Win tonight and we are definitely set fair for the run in.
