I don't play or owt, but I do like watching the Majors and Ryder Cup. Huge respect for their craft, and watching it just calms me down a bit.
As usual there will be a lot more twist and turns to come. Particularly as Mickelson’s scorecard always has so many ups and downs.
Happy for Phil. He's rolled back the years to show he's still got it. He would have won far more if it wasn't for being part of the Eldrick era. What a lovely sight too with the hugh crowd without masks or social distancing in sight.
A round of golf takes about 3 1/2 hours to 4 hours to complete of which the participants combined involvement will take about 5 minutes.
Not really the participants combined involvement is 3 1/2 to 4 hours plus at least an hour before and after arguing about handicaps
Pleased for Mickelson. He went up hugely in my estimation a few years ago in the Ryder Cup when he watched Justin Rose turn the tables on him with a couple of outrageously long putts and showed absolute class in genuinely applauding as they went in. And p.s. Opinions are that, not fact, and golf is anything but boring though probably not fore those with a zero attention span.
