Anyone listening the ITV Half- time assessment. They were talking about whether Argentina’s penalty should’ve been given. Souness said yes and Keane said no. Sourness said something along the lines of they ‘re the rules and your can’t have that opinion. Keane retorted of course I give an opinion why are we here if not? Could get interesting with these 2. Have to say the commentary is **** though.

Souness was quite wound up before kick off, on the whole human rights issue & rightly stuck it to the British Empire too..:)

Didn't bother listening to any pre match talk from the presenters. Surely they can't have the same discussion around rights etc before every single match.

It's somewhat preaching to the converted as the Qataris aren't going to be watching the ITV coverage for sure.

As for Keane and Souness. It must be hard to be outraged about the game all the time lol

The British empire is a thing of the past as is Nazi Germany, the Spanish Empire etc. All have acknowledged their past and moved on. What is relevant today is countries that haven't.
