    In an item on Walking Cricket, a pastime Ian & his partner Kate have taken part in for sometime now. Ian was doing the scoring.
    Well, is was either barnsley66, or Jason Statham!

    Damn, I said to my missus, ‘they’ve got Jason Statham scoring at the cricket! Now turns out sadly it was just a wannabe!

    You can’t find it as boring as Slacki did. A group of us went to the test match against India at Trent Bridge. Slacki turns up, all excited, as he’s never been to the cricket before, wasn’t exactly sure what the rules were, etc. By the second ball he started saying “it’s quite a slow game, cricket, isn’t it?” And then by the third ball he was bored. Worked in our favour, as he volunteered for every bar run, all day!

    it wouldn’t be so bad, but he was witnessing Sachin Tendulkar knocking the ball around on his last tour of England. Even watching a master at work wasn’t enough

    I’m not a capitalist by any stretch, as you know — but once spent a particularly boring afternoon at Lords guesstimating the real estate value post demolition.. :eek:
