    The board should sell up. Two relegations in three seasons show this isn't for them.

    According to some reports, our Board recieved £88.77 million when they sold Nice to Jim Ratcliffe.
    Can't understand why they won't splash some of that to consolidate our position in the Championship
    if they are serious in their ambition which has been repeated again by our CEO this week re- " to attempt to get
    Barnsley into the Premiership."

    Watched a documentary on TV in the week, charting the lifestyles of different millionaires. One of those
    featured , was the boss of the " One Call" insurance group John Radford who bought Mansfield Town for £1
    in 2010.

    When asked how much of his own money he had invested in the Club during his ten year tenure,
    he estimated that it must be around the £50 million mark. That's a lot of money for a team currently plying
    it's trade in League Two who lie twenty third in the table and with little prospect of doing much this season.
    It sounds as though for him, it's not about the glory or making money, its a true labour of love for his home town
    team and its loyal supporters.
