Me and 2 other customers in the store. Social distancing level? About 5 aisles.
Best get that mask on quick so that people can drink and swim in peace.

If people used common sense and avoided peak times then there would be much less transmission. The problem is people are unwilling to put themselves it, instead they prefer to say do as I say not as I do

Please don’t encourage people to use common sense, otherwise when I do my shopping at 7 pm they’ll be queuing to get in rather than just the 3 of us in there as things stand. :D

If everyone did that, off peak would become peak.

I often wonder what would happen if every passenger booked Speedy Boarding on an easyJet flight?

Used Easyjet a few times and never used speedy boarding. Always got on the plane, found my seat and arrived at the same time at my destination as everyone else, lol

And then I'd go at other times.

There is enough time in a day to spread the load out. Click and collect has peak times usually too but because of demand it's been distributed throughout the day.

As they say these days, flatten the curve

Glad you were ok, shops are very dangerous compared to safe spaces like pubs, restaurants, factories and warehouses.

I don’t understand paying more to have to sit there cramped up for longer whilst everyone brushes past you and stands with their arse in your face whilst trying to let people past them as they fiddle around for ten minutes before sitting down. I’d pay more to get on last, everyone has a reserved seat anyway, it’s not like the first ones on get to run to the best seat or something. I always wait until the queue goes down and then leisurely board once everyone else has sorted themselves out.

Is that actually the only benefit then? Just getting to get on the plane into your already chosen seat before someone else?

Think it’s more about having somewhere near you for your carry on luggage than getting in your seat earlier

It was a risk I'll tell you that. I was absolutely crapping myself in case the woman looking at dresses coughed on me from across the shop.

Good news though. The shop assistant who served me has immunity to it so that's good. Well I assume that he did as he serves a few hundred people every day and he doesn't need a mask

That's one of the many things I don't understand. Why aren't the overhead lockers allocated to each individual seat?

Its exactly that for me- when I used to do a lot of business travel I always used to travel with hand luggage - I could do a week with a maximum size wheely case - the ones that just fit in the overhead lockers. I wasnt desperate for it to be too close though its handy. If you were one of the last on it was a problem as there was no overhead space and they are too big t go under the seat. If I flew on holiday or on a long hall business trip where I would be away more than Monday to Friday and had to check luggageanyway and only had a small hand luggage then I agree getting on last is much better

Because you can only put 2 bags in the space above 3 seats sometimes all 3 in the seasts will have a bag they want to put above but another set of 3 will not have anyone

If I'm in a pub they take my name to contact me if anyone develops the disease. This could take up to two weeks for the symptoms to show- how many could I have infected in two weeks without knowing it?

I'm in a class with 15 kids - no mask. Children in Leicester are showing unusually high rates of infection ... but children aren't at risk! They might not be hit as hard as older people but they can pass it on surely!

The world is getting crazier by the minute - just stop the ride I want to get off.

I think you blocked me, so maybe I’m barking at the moon, but if everyone avoids peak times won’t they become peak times? Or Did I miss some deep logic?
