    Just before Christmas last year I made a donation via JustGiving, I can't quite remember exactly but I believe it was a BFC initiative to help with food banks etc. I think it was the game where people were asked to bring food to donate, but not 100% sure.

    A couple of days ago my donation was returned in full, with no explanation, just a refund to the card I used. Has anyone else experienced this?

    Yep, I meant to post but forgot. Mine was refunded a week or so ago. It took me a while to remember what it was.

    Very strange, I can't believe for a minute that they raised too much money for the food bank. A quite bizarre event, wish I knew what was behind it, hope nothing dodgy went on.

    I wonder if they had to complete an action to receive it and they didn’t do so in the timeframe.

    According to this, they’d raised £1600 that must have all been refunded.

    All very strange, such a shame that people, including you and me, willingly donated £1600 which never got to deserving recipients.
