    He's been doing ok in the games I've seen him so unless he's had a nightmare then I wouldn't drop him.

    Would rather listen people who went views on it but even so he's done no wrong in games I've seen him in to warrant a negative thread like this.

    All of the back 4 had a decent game today, coped with the extra pressure well.
    It was those in front of them that let them down.
    McDonald has been playing well, it would be mad to drop him.

    Was out of his depth last week. Not been today so cant comment but its clearly a problem area since Mawson left.

    Can only go from commentary but McDonald sounded solid, who's the say Jackson is any better? He certainly has less league experience.

    I've only seen him last week v Reading having been on holiday but I wasnt impressed at all.

    He's done nothing wrong. Don't quite know what people expect. We've conceded only 5 in 5 games since he joined having conceded 8 in 4 when Mawson was here. So I can't agree saying he's out of his depth!

    Im 100% in context, I know we've done incredibly well so far and today was a tough ask. I also know the step up he's made, but what I saw lst week tells me he's not even close to being ready to be a first team regular yet.

    From what I've seen and heard he's perfectly capable and certainly no worse than Alfie Mawson was in quite a few games for us. I do understand your view though especially after only seeing last week but remember if you had only seen certain games from Mawson you'd think he was awful too and that is frankly a hell of a lot more bad games than MacDonald has had
