For not being in the away end tonight.

My mums family were from Alum Rock in Brum, all die-hard Villa fans and evacuated to Yorkshire in the early 40's. They liked it and never went back (I've been to Alum Rock and I know why).

    Thanks.

I've got him to thank for not being a blunt, my parents had moved to Norton Lees ( a big blunt area) before the war and moved back when the war started and never went back.

I've got the lack of work in the Midlands at the turn of the 20th Century to thank. My Great Grandfather walked from Brum (Bull Ring) to Sheffield to find work in the steelworks and then settled in Hoyland.

If it wasn't for Hitler, my Welsh grandfather would never have moved to an airbase in Lincolnshire where he met by grandmother. So its very unlikely my mother would ever have been born...
