    Exactly, so now the lad has got one game against Germany (assuming he's in the squad!) to 'prove" he can handle international football. So much for Southgate picking on form. Why not try and so something a little different, work on a plan B in these sort of games, for when plan A doesn't work. Nobody genuinely cares about this competition, just glorified friendlies really.

    Because he's not picked on form like he said, and he's put his faith in negative tactics and loyalty towards players who shouldnt be playing, and not picking players who should be playing. Today's game was a perfect opportunity for some others to show what they can do, instead he picked his favourites, who we all know about for England, and lost anyway!
