I’ve always hated the red button, been massively against it since they brought it in.

However, for the first time ever, I’m considering staying home and switching off when the predictable happens. Plus I’ll be warm.

For those of us that live 200 miles away its the only practical way of watching midweek evening matches - well along with iFollow but thats an extra tenner of course. Id still rather be at the game though - I love night matches and dont get to many these days

To be fair I live about 6 miles away and it's been a godsend this season.

It's also the only way I can see games live, unless they are broadcast as the feature match. I do generally watch the full games after the event through ifollow. Its not ideal knowing the score, but you take what you can get.

I'm currently undecided on my plans for tomorrow night, don't really fancy the 4 hour round trip and do like the convenience of being able to watch via the red button. That said, I'd much sooner be there

Will see how I feel come 4pm ish!

I understand that, in your case it is beneficial. I just don’t like the idea of it really.

Does have an impact on the attendances, especially the away followings, and ultimately ruins the atmospheres at games.

Removing the red button, I wouldn’t bother with ifollow either. I’d just listen on radio Sheffield like I used to do.

I’m working until 6:30 and my lad hasn’t been well - I’ll see how we feel. Need to get across from Donny.

Suspect I’ll come with it being Asbaghi’s first game. Had Schopp still been here I’d have been at home watching on the red button though.

I’m going to miss the Huddersfield game. My inconsiderate mate is getting married a week on Saturday. So I’m also likely to come because of that, don’t mind missing the odd couple but not two in a row.

You can remove the red button but it will still be on.

Didn't attend the sheff utd or derby games due to recent surgery. Watched both on red button, coverage is terrible.
