When did they get MASSIVE?? Back in the 80's and 90's I used to travel away quite a lot, and on one occasion when arriving at Oakwell early, and it was pouring with rain, my friend and I were asked in to the club by the secretary, and given a bit of a tour. We saw the trophy shelf, they hadn't won enough cups for it to be called a room, or even a cabinet! I've just been reading that. I've been watching the reds 38 years, and that time we've spent a lot of time at the same level or above them. It's ok willy waving about promotions but with most promotions comes a relegation, and I've only seen us relegated 3 times. Not bad for a team thats level is Crawley eh? Also in that time we've never had to play at someone elses athletic stadium, or almost gone into the conference. Some of their fans have either very poor memories or have just jumped on their bandwagon. Also the comment about our fans getting "lip" with millwall. Swap that for a small number of reds fans standing up to larger millwall number whilst women and kids got away, and they might be closer to the truth. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
Probley one of the 20k plastic fans they have who only turned up when someone pumped a load of cash in and they built a new ground. Obviously can't remember struggling to get 5k fans in and nearly been relegated to the conference ten years ago hopefully when the money runs out they will end up back down there were they belong. I doubt our fans were that badly behaved or our own fans would have been slaging em off on here by now. Sensitive lot them Brighton boys.
Just been looking at their league record. They've only spent 4 years in top flight in their whole history. 3 more than us admittedly, but it's not us giving it the Billy big b@llocks and condescending. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
90% plastic club be a sad day for football if they got to the premiership. Just above franchise fc (mk dons) in my estimations
**** em all. We do great considering our finances. If someone did decide to come in and invest in our club to take us to the next level, they would be buying into a club that didn't need a complete overhaul. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
