Had a player on from Grimsby who's been let go, on Calendar. He was talking of looking for a job outside of football as he has a wife and kids to support.

Wow, I didn't realise Holloway had fallen that far down the leagues. Always seemed a bit of an idiot but I thought he'd be guaranteed another decade or so on the lower championship managerial merry go round

Both of them? I’m sure they can distance themselves from each other...

He's got shares in the Club so effectively he's a co-owner.

As often happens the headline is not as accurate as the story, what Holloway said was he has 10 contracted players and to save the club money have agreed not to play for a year until fans are allowed in.
That suggests the club have them on a pay as you play basis and it is a mutual agreement not players refusing.

Whatever the reason for taking this stance I think they are right and I would support them as a fan.

Such a tough decision to make. In a ideal world Football would stop until grounds can be packed again. But if we wait until that moment most clubs would go out of business.

Won’t happen they would be effectively relegating themselves out of the league next season surely

In an ideal world, more of the mega money being pumped into the top end of the game, would be filtered down into the lower leagues to help stave off any financial problems that may be forth coming.

I'd have had him back as manager. He'd fit right into what we do as a club.
