    Covid 19 can be transmitted by 5G was utter ******!!. Was it for real that some people actually believed it or was it an April fool ? Surely no-one is THAT stupid.
    Just think though...... Covid is a virus....Virus is 'matter'.... 5G transmits a wireless signal... Eureka!! In no time after some R&D we could have had people and goods moving round just like good old Star Trek Transporter beams and get rid of all those nasty polluting vehicles, an end to queueing at airports, overcrowded trains, traffic wardens, Drink/drug drivers Just nip into a booth get your 5G mobile out, dial up where you want to go and hey presto!! ... you arrive at the speed of light.

    OK.... so occasionally you may arrive looking like a Picasso portrait or with the odd missing limb if the signal was a bit dodgy, or worse disappear into oblivion if the system goes down mid transfer but , 'hey-ho'. thousands die on the roads every day.

    Meanwhile back in the real world.......

    Unfortunately some people are that stupid. Seriously some of the sh*t that people discuss that they have seen on social media is incredible but some still believe it.

    The mainstream media don't help though. They've been trying to turn the public against 5g for months now with the constant negative reporting of its links to Chinese companies

    There is a considerable difference between applying caution to opening our cyber infrastructure to the Chinese and believing that 5G spreads C19.

    That is my point, that unfortunately some people are that stupid. You're right that it doesn't take some people very long to jump from one perfectly rational debate to one that it so ridiculous it shouldn't see the light of day.

    There's a lass on my Facebook who takes this 5G nonsense extremely seriously, to the point where she was outwardly delighted at a mast being torched in Dublin. She also thinks COVID is a ploy to make anti-vaxxers get vaccinated.

    I just don't understand some folks' mindset.
