I've worked with a lot of these people. I used to go to the Hacienda & have interviewed a few for my punk show.

A very under rated man in my opinion and allegedly a bit of a character

 

Yeah. I did. A bit of a legend to me. Tony Davidson, who I interviewed was offered the Joy Division management gig, but passed it to him.

 

Agree about the legend title.

Have watched “imagine the factory” as well.
I found it very interesting in spite of not being a very appreciating art type of person.
