One of my very dearest friends and fanatical Luton fan, who tragically took his own life four years ago. I've been blubbing my eyes out tonight, partly through sheer joy, and partly because he's not here to share it with me. Savour every moment of a fantastic night for our club. You Reds!
Sleep well Ian, hope you’re raising a glass to the hatters wherever you are. My condolences to you as well Merde Tete. Depression is as much a b*stard of a disease as cancer in my view, and takes a similar amount of lives prematurely.
Sadly mate you're absolutely right. I've lost more people to depression than I'd wish on anyone, all of them young or young-ish. A truly dreadful condition.
I thought you were talking about the Ian Saunders that I worked for at Jaguar for 10 years for a moment.....
Effects more than can be imagined.if you've not been in that dark place it would be difficult to understand. More people have than would like to admit it.Can be managed with antidepressants and some who I know it's a life time medication.gets them through life, just. Lifts you when you're team does well. Makes that big of difference.
Know where you're coming from with this. Someone very close to me suffers from self worth issues from time to time brought on by a divorce even though they have a great life now
