employing a lot more nurses on the same wages they are now?cwhich would you do? They're you're only options. Increase wages or numbers?
I'll ask our lass when she finishes her night shift to get a nurses perspective. My answer would be to give the ones we have a pay rise.
Increase wages and numbers would naturally creep up But also improve working conditions along with this.
Yeah cheers ask her please because it's one of those isn't it where I've no idea which they'd prefer. Obviously in an ideal world you'd do both
Being on the shop floor I'd have to say without question more nurses. Our staffing levels have been cut significantly over the last 8 years or so and this impacts massively on us and our patients.
Just asked my wife, who is surrounded by Covid-19 patients on her ward in Sheffield, and increasing numbers of nurses was her answer without hesitation. It's a great question.
Working conditions will only improve if we have more staff. When i first started this wasn't a problem but it can be pretty horrific at times now.
Both. There isn't a choice. The amount of money the government have just released proves everything they've ever claimed is putrid, festering, c0ck wart puss.
