    5000 fans putting in £1k apiece would be £5m. Would that be enough for them to relinquish their 80%?

    Doubful on so many levels
    1. Not sure they would sell at a loss
    2. you arent going to get 5000 fans to put in 1 K each and buy a Season ticket
    3. the £1K is just the start or do you think we wouldnt need to put any more cash in
    4. Who is on the board we cant all be and I cant see us all agreeing on who would be there and I am not sure if my preferred candidates would be interested

    Just in response to this, have a look at Hearts fan ownership and how that has worked. This is a club with a similar fan base and finances.

    Stuart Wallace who runs the foundation of Hearts is a friend and for all those who say fan ownership can’t work just have a look at how Hearts have performed.

    I don't really have £1000 but i'd find it if another 4999 fans could do the same.
    Ideally though, we'd be better owning 50% and letting someone with at least some substantial funds own the other 50%.

    Have they actually taken over from Ann Budge is it ? yet? Toby s happy there though, got himself a cup final to play in!
