Top half in the Championship at the first time of asking - would you take a guaranteed 12th place finish now? I wouldn't personally, I feel like there's something special here and top 6 isn't out of the question. Can't see us getting too involved in any relegation scraps and I think we have the best attitude throughout the squad of any team in the division
Probably yes. If we are in the same position after 15 games ask me again. It's still very early in the season.
Absolutely, we seem to be under estimating this division I like this team but this season will be difficult and I can see us struggling especially when the end of the season rolls round
Played 5, could have won them all. As Jimmy says, needs time. Some tough games ahead, let's get to Xmas eh.
Yes We've lost away twice when we can't play the really high tempo game thats seen us brilliant at home this season. I know we're a young team but I'd be amazed (and ecstatic) if we can 'blitz' teams like we have at home all season. If we finish 12th I reckon I'd take that.
i would snap the hand off with a rusty hacksaw if somebody offered me/us 12th this season right now!! it will be a struggle for us as the season wears on and anything like 12th would be a brilliant finish.
No. I've seen enough to think we won't go down. What I have also seen is promise and thoughts of this is a very good young side. I'm happy to see where it will take us. Who knows. If they falter and end up just above relegation so be it. Who would have thought that just before Christmas last year.
Absolutely. TBH Championship survival is our objective this season. Anything better is a bonus. But beware. Every team has a bad spell and we have not had ours yet.
Kinda wrong really, unlucky at Ipswich, both pen decisions and chances. And should have got at least a draw at Huddersfield. Love the way we play
i would normally say the same ryhill, but how many times have we said this over the years. when we should have done this or that in a game but ended up losing it. i stick by the idea that avoiding relegation will be brilliant, and anything near mid table will be an amazing bonus.
No. Because although on the face of it 12th would be a really good finish, it may not be enough to persuade our key players who are out of contract to resign. It definitely won't be enough to keep Hourihane, but there's also Scowen and Watkins to consider. Lose them as well and we really could struggle the season after. I'd love to think we can finish higher than that. Maybe we won't, but so what? Dare to dream!
No, let's give it a go, although every year in this division sticking to the plan would see our club get very gradually stronger whilst some of the other sides are likely to go belly up financially. Though I find no joy in watching other clubs suffer, at the moment they're riding an unsustainable wave of cash that can't fail to run out at some stage. Add to this the youth of our squad and surely, whatever happens this season, if we keep our nerve we should have a happier future than a lot.
Championship football again next season and that's a successful season in my opinion Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
No because we're 3rd at the minute. Not by luck or fluke either. I don't expect us to finish in the top 6. But it's been one crazy run and to be honest, it doesn't shoe signs of letting up just yet. Sent from my phone using my hands
We can give any team a game on our day , been unlucky at Ipswich and Huddersfield , 6 th place to aim for this season
Snap your hand off for 12th. Feel free to bring this back but if we actually finish higher than 12th id be amazed. Not that I don't want us to of course!
Not sure we. An claim to have been unlucky at Huddersfield. They deserved their win. Not meaning to detract from your other comments though.
