Me and my colleagues are running a league table prediction thats really neat.
Thought we could do the same on here if anyone is interested?

We used to do it manually, but there's sites* that can do everything for you these days so might be better, depending on how many would be interested in participating.

You predict each teams final position and get errors for each position you are off when the season is over.
5 minutes invested time for a few months of excitement. Whats not to love.

My prediction skills are appalling but I'd give it a go.

Well i'm bored at work so lets give it a go.

    So, to sum it up:
You bet on each of the league 1 teams final position. If you bet Barnsley at 4th place and we end up at 1st, thats 3 positions off, meaning 3 errors.
The least amount of errors after all teams has been calculated is the winner.

This is obviously totally free, and no winning prize will be handed out except for the huge amount of glory.
The more participants the more fun, and it only takes a few minutes (or hours of googling each teams latest transfers, etc... depending on the effort you wanna put it) :)

If its a success i'll run something similar for next season.

How the hell do i bet then?
Just go here, and drag and drop the teams to where you want them: https://betlings.com/betform/barnsley-bbs
The Password to place the bet is: tykes

We use this site on my job and its working really well.
It will calculate the standings after each game, and it gives us some nice statistics about all the bets.
In other words; it's a good excuse for my bad excel knowledge and saves me a lot of work.
Deadline for this is right before the Bradford game this Saturday. You can edit the bet up until then.

What happens when i've placed the winning bet?
Come Saturday, i'm gonna post an update on here to sum up how we betted overall.
And for the sake of it, i will also make sure to update this thread with the standings regularly, as i know people will forget to follow it on that site.
