I think we've had all the below:

    - Unstable club at boardroom level
    - Absolute dearth of professional management
    - Loss of much of the continuity of the club behind the scenes
    - Poor early results as a result of the above
    - Poor confidence as a result of poor early results
    - Poor further performances as a result of poor confidence
    - Even worse confidence as a result of the boos and the league position.

I really don't envy these lads.

Were you perfect in your twenties? Absolutely immune to criticism, crisis of confidence, and shattered morale in the workplace?

I've recovered from my initial knee-jerk reaction.

Let's give it a few games.

Trouble is, that game was winnable and definitely drawable.. Must admit I expected better from our new manager, that was just as bad a first game In charge that I can remember.

I think he came with a 'stop the rot' mentality and it backfired. I'm curious to see what he does next. If it's shít, I'll criticise :D

Let them have the ball in their half seemed to be much of the plan…. And I didn’t even see the snore fest of the first half.

Build a team around the press…. Then don’t use the press. Just seems weird to me that we’re still not using our apparent strengths.

I agree with that. The whole stadium reacts positively when we actually press for a minute or so, because we know that works with our players. Daft not to use it.
