Halme sent on to play as a striker - because Barnsley didn’t have a tall striker to send on.
Basically because we sold our tall striker.
Take Woodrow out and this team has no bite going forward.
    Poor poor poor !!!

In other words ......... Halme coming on as a striker means we HAVE NOT got a full squad.
Even though I agree it was the most successful close season for the club - it still wasn’t sufficient.

Birmingham were very very poor and they were there for the taking - but we just didn’t have the players available to get that one goal that would have killed them.

Daniel has got his work cut out - because on that showing we are going to really struggle to get goals this season.

    Can't argue with that.

Just very poor all over the park and much of it self inflicted.

Been boys against men all night.. Fancy football at times that went no where.. DS must secretly be pulling his hair out in frustration.. Team lacks experience all over the place..
My thoughts and prediction of a top ten finish look to be way out..
Its the type of football that you get with young inexperienced lads... Starting to think we would have been better missing out on promotion and getting these lads in and giving them 12 month together in league one...
Early days I know but apart from the Fulham game I think the writings on the wall for a long tough season.. Before the usual suspects start with the abuse because they don't agree.. And then follow with... suggesting I stop watching and go and support another team Explain why you think I'm wrong.. In your opinion and why you are right..

It always was going to be tough even with our promotion team Radlinger is definitely better than Davies no question. Mads and Diaby look like they will be a good partnership and Lindsay always looked liable to get red carded in this division imo.
Which leaves losing Moore. If it's TRUE he was at Cardiff for a medical then he was definitely after a money move so what could the owners do about that? Yes I'd like to have kept him but as I've said before Wigan are hardly setting the league alight.
