Why does it always take the person in front of me, 20 minutes to unload at the tip, when it never ever takes me more than 60 seconds.
Don't get me started......... petrol stations ......... they fill up then it takes longer to set off...... mirror keys phone kids purse wallet seat receipt ........ does my tats in
Women at tills. cashiers says that’ll be £12.85 please and immediately the woman goes into a flat spin searching for her purse and fumbling with her bag like it was a surprise she was going to be asked to pay!
Just this. If I’ve taken a couple of bags of garden waste I can be in and out in a couple of minutes. Today I went to the tip for the first time in ages with a broken down large wooden compost bin that was 6’ x 4’ (28 planks and 4 corner posts. An old metal swing that was in the garden when we moved in which had metal tubing the size of drainpipes some old metal chairs the inside of a magic corner cupboard. 4 litres of used cooking oil used water filter cartridges some old lights an old fan an old liquidiser and a bag of green waste. Completely filling the back of a large estate (or as Jaguar call it Sportsbrake) with the seats down. I also was directed to park about as far from the wood skip as it was possible to be. It did take me close to 30 mins to unload. Especially as only one person allowed up the steps to the top of the skip at a time. Think that’s the longest I have ever spent there as usually I would have not saved up and entire car full of wood and scrap metal
Ah well you see, what's happening there is they're getting an on screen balance. Then withdrawing. Then getting a paper mini statement to confirm it says what they just saw on screen. Then throwing said mini statement on the floor
It takes me less than 60 seconds to dump everything in a quiet country lane in the middle of the night..
I live half a mile from West street tip in Worsbro'. Maybe people have more rubbish this year or are so bored out of their minds that they just want summat to do, it's normally a 1 hour round trip at the moment. It's rubbish!!
I've been a few times in the last months with moving home and all the waste that created. One observation I've made while sat near the unloading area waiting is organisation. I try and load similar items together in the car to minimise trips to and from the car. If I have wood or metal than can be taped together then I do. Some people just seem to throw the rubbish in the car any old how and sort it out at the tip.
I have another equally important question. What the fk has happened to all the hand car wash joints? Tried 4 today, every one gone. Has Priti had them all shipped back home in airtight containers?
12 April i think for re-opening of hand car washes. My car is a slightly different colour than it should be at the moment so bring on the 12th . Pubs and car washes open , we've nailed it.
