.......... it just does not make any sense at all. Just one of their players is worth all the Barnsley players put together. And they have a full squad of these highly paid players - probably the best squad in the division. An incredible result by Barnsley !!!
It's reight tho int it. On paper they should be beating Barnsley 6 - 0. Their squad is worth £££millions. As Hecky said - they can field two Championship teams. Unbelievable result by TARN toneet. Especially when you consider a few of Barnsleys players haven't played at this level before. There's going to be many scratching their heads in Derby wondering how this happened.
Their squad isn't worth £££millions though. They foolishly paid £££millions for the players but it doesn't mean they are WORTH that. They're just sportsman signing up to play at most 75 hours of football a year for them for 2 or 3 years.
If coaching produces good players and a good team, then Hecky and Co. must be some of the best. Other teams believe success comes from paying ludicrous transfer fees and salaries, doesn't necessarily make a good team. It will be interesting to watch how this team progresses over the next year or so.
