I can see why the blunts, dingles, toy town etc would be giving it out, but manure, naarich, brizzle etc. Quite baffling as we've not had much interaction with them over the years The only commiserations has been from my blunt fan father in law! I really don't get the hatred. I always had the impression we were the "second team" for a lot of fans from other clubs. Seems not. For the record I'm not one to ever give it large on Twitter etc, just a casual user. I can only imagine what some of our more vocal fans have witnessed. Very odd.
A cheating, rulebreaking, living on past glories set of deluded big time massives who maybe now are starting to see the reality of where they really sit in the scale of modern football....paying over inflated wages to average players with money ya dunt have = Division 3.....enjoy
A bit sad when the word "hatred" is used. We all engage in banter which can go over the top but once the fun side of it is exceeded it soon becomes unacceptable. Yes it is funny to see the massives squirm but keep it right.
I don't have any hatred towards Wednesday, and the fans I've known have actually been pretty decent. Not necessarily as aware of other clubs as they could be, but still, not bad eggs necessarily. I also don't take much pleasure in their owners reckless tenure of ownership. It's happening at too many clubs and it could easily happen to us, maybe even more so if we got promoted then relegated. Not necessarily through these owners, but they could easily sell for a song while our stock is high and we've no control who comes in. But having said that, I'm glad they were relegated. It should have been last season. I don't understand why there is such delay by the football authorities, penalties should be struck for the period of the breach, even if that means retrospective action. The football pyramid is all the better for teams who have cheated to be demoted. It could be a long road back for Wednesday. Just like Sunderland. Just like Portsmouth.
